Nature-Inspired, Handcrafted Furniture, Functional & Fine Art
I just caught up with North Andover artist Jackie Tieuli, founder of Sōl Art & Design. We met at an Andover Women in Business Networking Event, where I fell in love with her Ocean Table (more on that below).
Jackie’s been busy in her Lawrence studio creating functional art — coasters, cheese boards, and so on. These pieces are now available on Etsy Marketplace.
Perfect for Mother’s Day!
Days are blending together in quarantine. But Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Brighten your mom’s morning coffee with a gift of these truly unique, ocean-inspired coasters. Purchase a matching cheeseboard and some wine. Jackie can deliver. And then schedule a Zoom happy hour with mom!
Choose Your Color Palette!
Jackie is always adding new pieces to her Etsy Shop, so be sure to visit it often. If you don’t see the color palette you desire, contact Jackie and she will do her best to create it for you! She also offers gift wrapping and mail or porch drop offs.
Furniture and Fine Art Available by Commission
Remember the Ocean Table I mentioned above? Jackie did that work on commission and here’s a view of its table top below. I love how the waves seem to wash over it.
That motion and depth is achieved through the unique medium of resin. Jackie told me, “I love doing the oceans because of the depth and movement I can achieve through multiple layers of resin. Although not a beach person or sun worshipper, the ocean to me is like therapy. A beautiful part of nature that can soothe, calm and feel so mesmerizing and peaceful.”
While the above piece was done on commission, some smaller side tables are available for immediate purchase.
Mixed-Media Fine Art Available
Jackie also uses crystals in her work, like in the stunning piece below, drawing from nature and tranquility. “Quartz amethyst and rose quartz are probably the most common ones I use,” she said. “I hope people find calm and peacefulness in my art, because that’s what I achieve while creating them. As all artists say, there is a piece of me in every one of my creations.”
