Savor Andover Restaurant Week Set for March!

At the February Andover Business Meeting, Ann Ormond, Director of Business, Arts, and Culture for the Town of Andover, announced that Savor Andover Restaurant Week is set for Sunday, March 22nd to Thursday, March 26th. Participating restaurants will offer lunch and dinner options, with a variety of menus — some prix fixe and other special menus — during this five-day local culinary celebration.

Also, in consideration is a Retail-Restaurant Pairing, where local eateries offer pop-up retail space to showcase the wonderful shopping options we have in Downtown Andover!

All restaurants and retail businesses in Andover wishing to participate, should contact Ann Ormond ASAP! Call (978) 623-8262 or click here to email Ann.

Calling All Local Artists

Savor Andover Restaurant Week is hoping to attract the attention of local artists this year. Those in Andover and in surrounding communities. The idea is to invite local artists to exhibit their work — paintings, illustrations, sculptures, and so on — in Andover restaurants, shops, and salons. In essence, creating a Feast for The Eyes to compliment the five-day local culinary extravaganza that is Savor Andover Restaurant Week.

Interested artists should contact Ann Ormond ASAP! Call (978) 623-8262 or click here to email Ann.

Retro Art by Gary Destramp

Lowell native Gary Destramp’s illustrations are slated to appear here during Savor Andover Restaurant Week. I’ve long been a fan of Gary’s illustrations — I love how he captures historic local landmarks.

You can view more of Gary’s work on his Facebook page and by visiting his studio at Western Avenue Studios, # A508.
